Society of the Sons of the Revolution in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
cordially
invites members and friends to attend its Fall Luncheon Meeting.
Participating with us will be the
Massachusetts Society of the Order of the
Founders and Patriots of America, The
Society of the War of 1812 in the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts, The Order of
Lafayette
and Descendants of Washington’s Army at
Valley Forge. Society of the War of 1812 President Jack Manning will
serve as the presiding officer.
Date: Wednesday, September 21, 2011
Place: Union Club of Boston, 8 Park Street, Boston (handicap
accessible from Park
Street Place).
Time: Business Meeting for members only, 11:20 a.m.to conclude
no later than
11:45 a.m.
Reception, 11:45 a.m.,
Dutch treat bar
Luncheon, 12:15 p.m.;
cost $40 per person
Our Guest of honor and speaker will be John
Laurence Busch, author of Steam Coffin: Captain
Moses Rogers and the Steamship Savannah Break the Barrier.
